For Many People in Toronto It's Condos Only!
It's a different type of lifestyle we're leading today and Toronto condos fit right into this newer trend. It's no longer all about owning a big house with a two-car garage and a sprawling lawn at the front. Today's lifestyle has changed and for many people that live in this city it's condos or nothing.
Condos are used for downsizing but…
Not always. There are a lot of people that do not want to have the added responsibility of owning their own home and like the freedom that they can get by living in a condo. Don't assume that just because somebody is living in a condominium that they aren't doing it by choice. There are plenty of people that could afford to own their own single-family home but decide not to.
Being a part of the action
It's difficult if not impossible to find an affordable single-family dwelling near downtown Toronto these days. If you want to be right in the thick of things and have the action close by, you'll want to live downtown. There are plenty of condos available in downtown Toronto or close to the downtown core that are surprisingly reasonable in price. It all really depends on what you're looking for and exactly how close you want to be to the inner-city.
Yard work is no longer an option
While some people love to rev up their lawn mower on a Sunday morning and spend an hour or two mowing their lawn, there are many others that really don't look forward to the manual yard work. When you own a Toronto condo the yard work is completely eliminated since you'll have your own gardener keeping up the grounds for you.
The social scene of a condo
Most condo buildings have their own sort of social network that you can either be a part of or not. If you love interacting with people and relish the idea of having close neighbors then condo life would be perfect for you. Many buildings have social gatherings where people can connect and amenities such as fitness areas, swimming pools etc. where you'll be able to interact with your neighbors.
Condos offer a completely different type of lifestyle than what you would find by living in a townhouse, single-family home or a duplex. There's something special in condo living that some people treasure and they would never consider giving up their condo to own a single detached home.
